Last night I had a shoot with a band singer named Birdee! She was entirely sweet and we had so much fun playing with her look. ;)

Last week I went on a last-minute vaca to Vegas to do photoshoots with two of my most favorite photographers: Junichi with Pixel Art Photography and Courtney with Roxanne Imaging. Courtney had just moved there a month ago, and we were long overdue for some gossip and camera fun! =)

I had the best time ever assisting Junichi on shoots, having a spa day with Courtney, eating meals with the favorites, and modeling in the Wynn. I'll never forget this trip!

Fashion Shoot: Boulder Falls, er, Creek

The other day, I had an idea for a shoot: waterfall scene!! My intention was to shoot a bikini model at Boulder Falls, however, when we arrived it was closed due to "high waters." So time for plan B. Which is? Lol. I had to improvised big time. Luckily Annelise was a trouper. We pulled over and decided to grab some shots a little lower at Boulder Creek instead.

An amazing friend of mine, Cassie Jahn, accompanied us on the trek to the creek and was an excellent grip. ;) Annelise was an awesome model and such a good sport that day--fyi the water was FREEZING! I have a feeling Annie and I are going to be good friends. ;)

(*2011 Update: Annie and I are great friends! Have been ever since the creek. Love you Annie!)

it starts here...

So it's starts here I guess.

I'm a photographer...and I own a tree nursery. I think the two have worked well together...oddly enough.

I LOVE shooting fashion, but every once in awhile I enjoy the quiet of shooting landscapes and my trees...

Yet, my dream is to shoot weddings. Beautiful, classy, and vintage-like weddings. Fashion will always be a passion...but weddings is what I want to shoot. Some days I wonder how long it will take for me to get there. Gotta dream big though. ;)

Since I'm new to this whole blog thing, I figure I'll just post a few of my favorite recent photos and see how this whole thing turns out.
